Stagecoach Students Awards
Stagecoach wishes to reward its own students and three specific categories are available:
The Stagecoach Theatre Arts Award for Excellence
The Stagecoach Theatre Arts Award for Achievement
The Stagecoach Theatre Arts Award for Endeavour
Three levels are available in each award - Gold, Silver and Bronze
Nominations for these awards should be made by Stagecoach Principals who may submit applications for any of the seven award categories.
Guidance Criteria for the Stagecoach Student Awards
The Stagecoach Theatre Arts Award for Excellence
This award will be presented to a student who, in the judge’s opinion, has achieved the highest standard in performance, behaviour, attitude and attendance during the last twelve months.
The Stagecoach Theatre Arts Award for Achievement
The judges will be looking for a student who has achieved the most during the year. For example: A child who has moved from total shyness to singing a solo in public; a young person who has improved their dance sufficiently to be offered a place in a Dance Troupe, or a student who has achieved maximum marks in a public examination.
The Stagecoach Theatre Arts Award for Endeavour
This award will honour a student who has worked extremely hard in all their disciplines at Stagecoach. The judges will be looking for a student who has attended regularly and who has been a student with positive and hard working attitudes. Students who have worked to reach standards equal to their peer group. Students who have had to “catch up” after having to take time out through illness or other personal reasons.
